I'm currently in route for a holiday trip to Cleveland, Ohio for a Christmas with the entire Nordine crew. Being the midwest is well...the midwest. Meaning it's cold as heck. I'm planning on bringing a few different combinations of big coats, jeans, a few knit sweaters and capes. It's great for outdoor activities but still looks cute and chic for evening dinners out. While I love the cape pictured, it's unfortunately sold out however this plaid shawl comes close to second and this one in tan ($19.99) is right behind on my favorites list.
Here are a few other capes I love:
This past weekend in San Francisco was brisk - marking our official start to winter. It made for the perfect time to unpack and slip on this cape that I love. It has easily become my winter favorite, with twice the stylish impact because this cape is reversible. So you can either wear it as a colorful plaid pattern on one side and a classic herringbone on the other. I paired my cape with this black James Perse long sleeve, rag and bone distressed jeans, Kate Spade Purse and these adorable Sperry's (on sale!).
What capes or winter layer if any have you been eyeing lately? I'd love to hear!
