A perfect weekend getaway in Calistoga

Guys, this place was incredible. Everything from the SolBar Restaurant to the ultimate spa getaway. The resort even offered complimentary bicycles at your doorstep. We biked around the "campus" and enjoyed the breathtaking views and of course, vino. And their spa, don't even get me started. Highly recommend the signature mud slide. You go from mud therapy to a friggin' mineral bath tub to "state of the art" sounds chairs (which I passed out in). It was the coolest most tranquil experience.
This spot is Michelin-Rated. You don't need to hear it from me but we loved our experience. Strongly recommend the donut holes. They don't typically serve the donuts for dessert at dinner but it was my birthday so yeah birthday girl gets what birthday girl wants. Just kidding -- they had some extra dough from brunch and they are extremely amenable within the resort. If you are a dessert fen like myself try pairing the Butterscotch Rum Pudding with the donuts. You'll thank me later.

If you are in Calistoga, you gotta stop here. Great wine, great people even better dogs. They have a sweet sweet Golden Caleigh and two Pugs. I nearly died. We ended up sitting outside and they served us on the patio. It was lovely. I'd recommend you try out their Rosé - unique and refreshing!
We ended the weekend @ Archetype. Really cool brunch spot in that's technically in St. Helena with yummy breakfast and grapefruit mimosas. The Norwegian Eggs were exquisite - smoked salmon, poached eggs on an english muffin - melted in my mouth and of course, as per usual I inhaled it before I could snap a picture.
Thank you so much for reading and I hope you guys have the best day. Any hidden gems you love in wine country? Restaurants, wineries or resorts you'd recommend? I'd love to hear! Xo
